Old, OLD!

So, I've turned 25 last Saturday. Dah a quarter of a century lah seh!

And to think about it, when I was younger, I thought 25 was OLD. Amek kau. DAH TUA.
But truth to be told, I dont feel any day older since I was 18/19. Still feels the same.

Had a simple celebration affair with the family and the fiance on Saturday. Cake with the family after break fast. And I received the biggest gift from Mummy. A TV set for our bridal chamber aka bedroom! So sweet lah. :) Cant wait to finally put together the room in my house. Currently, the room is a store. For real. Can you believe it. Used to be a study room but left unused. So yar, shall save the story of doing up the room after puasa when FINALLY, it will be cleared up, painted, rewired; dan apa-apa lagi sewaktu dengannya.

On Sunday, it was a private affair with the beloved fiance. SUKER PLEASE! Had Max Brenner for the first time, (I know right. OMG.) and it was truly an overdose of chocolate. Crazehhh. Dont ignore diabetes people! I think we had enough chocolate to last a lifetime. But it was really good and rich. Note to self: Share the dessert and drink. Don't action and order one each. Pengsan. Manis potong kaki okeh.

And of course, a birthday present for me...

Tickets to 'The Phantom Of The Opera' at MBS. WAH! Banyak suker lah. Enjoyed myself thoroughly during 'Wicked'. I hope this would be awesome too! Last birthday as a single woman. Time sure flies.

By the way, we decided not to book our honeymoon during the Chan Brothers Travel Fair as we were quite apprehensive of the packages they offered. Pikir nye pikir, takut no halal food and also the company during the tour. We would definitely stick out like a sore thumb. So yar, I guess let's just stick to Muslim travel packages. No worries that way.

So blessed to be this happy. Alhamdulillah. :))

Almost ready!

Urgh. Back to work after the June holidays.
D R E A D F U L.
On the bright side, only 19 weeks left to the end of term 3 and 4. Cepatlah abis. Seksa!

Did loads of wedding stuff recently but just haven't had the time to update. Ok. So let's see.

1) Gotten BTO ballot number and selection date and time. *jumps for joy!*
1 August 2013, 10.15am. Yessaaa. Just in a few days time! Exciting giler lah. We have been looking around at some EC showrooms to get inspirations. Dah kater dah, excited tahap maksima. Padahal, siap 2017/2018.

2) Wedding card and bag for berkat checked.
Searched high and low. Alot of variety but all you can find in Malaysia is your typical wedding card. Looking for something more modern/ contemporary. Found a card to our liking at Joo Bee, Larkin. Auntie very friendly, good service and best of all, cheap! Part ni lah, akak-akak kawin suker. So, the fiance gotten his already. For me, I have to wait for the parents approval. Gotten our bag berkat from Kahwins next to Perling Mall.

The fiance's card sample. I like this! Yet to see mine, coz I is pasrah already. Parents deciding and settling it today. *Prays hard they choose the one I showed them*

3) Bedroom set.
This has got to be our best latest purchase. We had been receeing around so many places, too many places in fact, till my parents instead who were the ones who bought a new sofa set on one of the hunts. That escalated quickly parents!?!! So one day, the fiance's family, him and I went to Jusco, Tebrau to watch a movie, White House Down, which was surprisingly good by the way.

We stumbled upon this furniture shop there, White House. How apt. Looked at the bedroom sets. Ok lah. Nice, huge ass wadrobe, white and black furnishings. Asked for the price and it was RM 2880+. Suddenly, it striked us- Can be delivered to Singapore? How much transport fee?
And, YES! They do and for only RM 300 more. We were HOOKED. Contempleted whether to go ahead with the purchase and after much thought, since we were going to leave this set at my house after getting our own place later on, we simply needed a cheap one that can last for about 5 years. And whether safe, reliable? We will only know when we get it delivered. We decided to get it! At the price of about SGD 1300, YES, we have a bedroom set ladies and gentleman. Best buy evaaaaa.

All set and done! Left with electronic goods for our dulang exchange and all the remaining payments. Need to set up appointment with Mak Andam after raya. And of course, honeymoon *coughs hornymoon coughs* left to book too.

Wishing everyone selamat berpuasa!
Last raya and puasa as a single lady. :))
